Millerovskiy District is situated to the northwest of Rostov region at the state boarder with Ukraine.
The district administrative center is town of Millerovo, the most northern town of Rostov region and of the Southern Federal Division. The distance from the town to Rostov-on-Don is 220 km.
The state Russian-Ukrainian boarder is equipped with the customs control check point.
The distance to the neighboring towns from Millerovo is: to Kamensk-Shakhtinskiy – 75 km, to Donetsk – 100 km, the distance to Volgograd and Krasnodar is 400 km and 485 km correspondingly, to Moscow – 880 km.
Millerovskiy District is a large agricultural and processing center in the northern part of Rostov region. The district economic trade features a combination of industrial enterprises and agricultural cooperatives.
