More than two hundred works represent the best part of the museum's pictorial collection and allow the viewer to trace the history of Russian art of the XVIII, XIX and XX centuries in development and interconnection, despite the various aesthetic, ethical and ideological attitudes of each epoch.

Visitors to the museum will see the canvases of the greatest artists: AP Antropov, IK Aivazovsky, KP Bryullov, VA Tropinin, IN Kramskoy, II Levitan, IE Repin, V I. Surikova, V. D. Polenov, K. A. Korovin, M. S. Saryan, A. A. Arkhipov and others. Also visitors will get acquainted with the works of leading masters of the XX century, who preserved the artistic traditions of the XIX century and developed new aesthetic principles throughout the middle and second half of the XX century.
