Rostov-on-Don, TRC "Megamag" (Floodplain, 1).
This summer, from July 12 to August 12, 2018, in Rostov-on-Don will be an extraordinary multimedia exhibition-adventure "Open Space". "Open space" is a unique interactive project created with the support of the Russian popular science television channel "Science 2.0", with the participation of the state holding "Russian Space Systems". Each of the 47 exhibits immerses visitors into the atmosphere of the events of the open space: from the international space station to the remotest corners of the universe.
The exhibits were created specifically for the "Open Space" using the most modern technologies: more than 40 projectors are involved. 34 Microsoft sensors, special software, virtual reality glasses and much more.
The exhibition is interesting for everyone: in an easy way, even the youngest children are told about the cosmos, are involved in the process of cognition and are invited to travel around the corners of the universe. Each visitor to the exhibition can spin in a centrifuge, test launch into space in a rocket, repair the ISS in space gloves, shake hands with the legendary cosmonaut and with the help of the state television channel "Nauka" ask the question to the participants of the expedition to the International Space Station visitors receive directly from orbit. You can also feel gravity and weightlessness, hear your voice on Mars, climb up into space on an elevator, go through the quest on Mars, get acquainted with the "newcomer" from Skolkovo and launch an autonomous lunar rover "Junior" - an unmanned vehicle specially assembled for the "Open Cosmos" .
