Golf & Country Club «Don» project was designed by a German architect Folker Pueshel, a member of the German Institute of Landscape Architects (BDLA). The project was realized by a German company «Mokinski Golf-Sportanlagen» which had built more than 130 golf courses across Europe.
The main distinctive feature of the golf resort is maintenance of the original landscapes and environment with its local colour. The golf complex perfectly blends into the natural surroundings, so it can meet the requirements of golfers of different levels and it is a nice facility for running international tournaments.
According to the development plan Don Golf Resort complex is a grandiose country estate with the square of 500hectares, located not far from the southern capital of Russia — Rostov-on-Don city.
The complex is situated in Cossack village Starochercasskaya — one of the most picturesque and unique place — within 15 minute drive from the international Rostov-on-Don airport .

The Golf academy consists of driving range, putting-green, pitching-green and an academy 3-hole course par 4, 4 and 3 respectively (opened in 2007)
The Champions golf-course is an 18 hole-course par 72, the length is 6 345m (for men — 5 497m, for women — 4 946m). The first 9 holes were opened in 2008.
